The disinfection light continuously guides the air through the interior of the white powder-coated, cylindrical housing. Here, a special illuminant UVC generates light in a specifically optimised wavelength to damage the DNA or RNA of micro-organisms, thus eliminating 99.99% of the fungi, bacteria and viruses contained in the room air. Depending on your needs, the disinfection light can be placed on the floor, tables, window sills or shelves, or even fixed to the wall. ZAPP!18 can be operated without risk to health during the stay of persons and pets, as no harmful direct UV radiation enters the room.
