Serien Lighting serien.lighting Poppy ceiling, 1-bulb black/ruby red Description
Unusual ceiling lamp Poppy with flex arm and flower effect in operation, singleflameNot only friends of the florentine style get their money’s worth with the ceiling lamp Poppy. Its shade of tinted, hand-blown glass in the shape of a poppy blossom is attached to the canopy made of polished stainless steel via a flexible arm made of textile-coated aluminum. But not only the flexible arm of Poppy is movable: the reflector slats on the glass shade, which act as petals, are made of bimetal and are closed inwards when switched off. After switching on, they open bit by bit until they are fully spread after about two minutes. So you can admire this artfully created design object after each switch on again at the imitated flower.Of course, Poppy, which was created by designers Ulrich Beckert, Georg Soanca-Pollak and Peter Thammer for serien.lighting and is manufactured in Germany, is also ideal for use as a wall lamp. In the shade is a G4 socket and a corresponding bulb is already included.
