GOOD & MOJO Andes wall lamp adjustable white Ø47cm Description
Adjustable wall lamp Andes with two arms of bamboo and linen shade Andes wall lamp has two graceful arms made of bamboo, each connected with the help of joints. The fine wing screws in black are discreet and yet form a playful detail. They harmonize with the equally black textile cable and also ensure that the practical small switch on the wall mount integrates inconspicuously. The wall mount itself is also made of bamboo and inspires with a natural wood grain, which continues on the arms. Bamboo is considered a very sustainable material, because it can be cut again and again and grows back very quickly, it is also particularly stable. A round, cylindrical shade is suspended from the end of the flexibly adjustable arms, which is presented all in white and perfectly complements the natural, pleasant color scheme. Made of eco-linen, this shade delights with its glare-free lighting effect, which is created by the nature of the material. Linen is a very time-honored material that requires less water and chemicals to grow than cotton and is considered much stronger. The attractive appearance combined with the direct light effect down and indirect all around makes Andes a stylish companion next to the sofa, next to a reading chair or even next to the bed. This collection of lights was designed by Dutch manufacturer It’s about Romi with its sustainable brand Good & Mojo. In addition to their conscious use of sustainable materials, they support the WakaWakaFoundation, which raises funds to provide solar products to families in need. They also partnered in 2019 with Eden Reforestation Projects, whose mission is to plant trees in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, and Kenya for the purpose of reforestation and reducing extreme poverty by employing local villagers. These partly manufacture the unique lamps with their handicraft, traditional skills.
