The Stockholm-based design studio Afteroom created the Levitate range of luminaires. The diffuser, which sits in the shade above the milled brass knob, is made of handmade glass and provides glare-free lighting. As the aluminium shade is opaque, the luminosity is concentrated downwards, providing excellent illumination for tables and counters in living and dining areas. Afteroom is a design studio founded by Taiwanese-born designers Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, whose mission is to create beautiful products that add value over time.
